After a month off to avoid some of the Mongolian winter I'm now back in UB (Ulaanbaatar for the un-initiated). It was minus 39 Celsius at the airport when I came in a couple of weeks ago, it's now slowly starting to warm up (minus 15 to minus 25 these days) and get much lighter - I no longer go to and from work in the dark - nice!
